Martin Kullus - master stylist
I was born on 10th of February 1984.
I went to school in Tartu Art Gymnasium and graduated from it in 2002.
I studied to be a hairdresser in Rakvere, in beauty salon Revalia under the supervision of master hairdresser Kersti Suve. I have been working in Intersalon since 2005.
From foreign languages I speak English.
I have done hairdos for photo shootings for magazines Anne & Stiil, Kroonika and Buduaar. I have been involved in different fashion shows and commercial campaigns, also in TV shows and makeovers – Stiilipäevik, Pärlipeegel and Naistesaade. I have been the educator in Londa colouring and cutting trainings in Toila and Tartu. I have also been in the commission of Tallinn Industrial Education Centre to evaluate hairdressers’ final examinations.
In my work I like the opportunity to meet different people and to be useful to them. Intersalon’s conception supports the hairdresser to hold his frequent clients and this kind of long-term co-operation is in my opinion very pleasant and interesting! I don’t consider it to be the most important thing to follow all of the latest trends, instead I tend to follow more of the classical and conservative line in haircuts and colouring. Nevertheless I keep an eye on the trends and know what is going on in the fashion for hair!
I think that before anything a hairdresser has to look at every client from the client’s individual perspective and find the best solution together! The health of the scalp and hair is also very important, this is where everything starts, and with every chemical treatment you have to ask yourself what should be done and what not.
